Welcome, friends. The heart behind this blog stems from my desire to connect with other moms who value natural living, and spread the truth of the Gospel. As a career-oriented boss babe turned stay-at-home mom eight years ago, I found myself unraveling and questioning my purpose in life. I’d always pictured myself in a lucrative career, with lots of money in the bank and stamps in my passport. I had absolutely no idea who I was as “Natalie: wife, mom and homemaker,” and searched tiredly for purpose through various failed outlets. But it was through the refining process of motherhood that the Lord softened my heart and called me to Him. After a lifetime of living in religious bondage, He revealed to me the beauty, power, and freedom of the Gospel that is abundant, spiritual life through Jesus Christ. It was only two years ago, when I learned the truth of God’s grace through Jesus’ perfect sacrifice and complete forgiveness of sins, that I was finally set free from the lies and anxiety of religion.
I’ve since been learning to find joy in the role I’ve been called into, which is more challenging yet fulfilling than I ever thought possible. And with every post, I strive to lift up every mother who reads it in the same way I’ve been lifted up. Here at Delightfully at Home, you can expect to find encouragement on faith, intentional motherhood, homemaking, and natural living… because I also greatly value the importance of holistic health through body, mind, and spirit, and the impact I have in my family as the gatekeeper of our home.
